Reviews
We were recommended Sultans by our Airbnb host, and throughly enjoyed the two curries and naan we got from them. We ordered takeout and our food was ready and waiting for us when I arrived. The phone service was quick and friendly and they provided clear directions for parking as I wasn’t from the area.
Such good restaurant and absolutely delicious food, just what we needed on a rainy evening. The staff is warm, ambience is nice and some little touches like a warm towel and chocolate in the end just take the hospitality experience to 10! Great job guys :)
We normally get a takeaway bit decided to eat in, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent. The staff are very attentive, polite, and friendly. I would recommend a visit or 2.
Here on a busy Saturday night (and maybe they are always busy like this or it may have been in jubilant celebration of the England team beating Wales 68:14, although it looks like France will win the 6 Nations, as I write this review). Lots of waiting around for both our table (despite booking) and our food. However, the really pleasant and lovely staff acknowledged there were issues and knocked various items off the bill without any prompting. The food was really nice - we had a king prawn biryani with loads of prawns in it and the lamb patia was hot, spicy, and tasty with large lumps of meat. Chutney tray with the poppadoms was really good. Yes there were issues but we had a lovely meal and enjoyed our evening. When we return (and we shall), we will book for 8pm when the Saturday rush has died down.
I've put atmosphere as 4 as when we arrived it was very quiet and had no background music. So felt everyone could hear what we were saying. But luckily as the night progressed it filled up and this wasn't an issue. Perhaps if quiet a bit of background music might help. Food was great! Nothing to complain about.
